A chemist named Angelo Mariani who read through Mantegazza's paper turned quickly intrigued with coca and its financial prospective. In 1863, Mariani started off marketing and advertising a wine termed Vin Mariani, which were handled with coca leaves, to become coca wine. The ethanol in wine acted as a solvent and extracted the copyright within the
